How Solar Energy Work

HOW SOLAR ENERGY WORKS....

In solar energy technology, the solar cells(the whitish string)

attached to the solar panels attracts sun rays (RADIATION) which in turn gets converted to direct current (DC) using the heating mechanism on the solar panel. The energy flows on the separated negative and positive wires of the solar panels connected to the solar charge controller on the first port also known as the solar panel apartment of the charge controller.

The charge controller regulates the amount of voltage coming from the solar panel into the attached battery bank. This is done automatically to make sure that the battery doesn't get over/ under charged. The two battery terminals, negative and positive are fixed to the battery port of the charge controller first during setup. This is necessary to make sure that the battery only takes the appropriate voltage that will charge it from the amounts of charge flowing from the solar panel.

The third two ports of the charge controller is for the inverter cables. The two inverter terminals are connected to the charge controller to enable it draw direct current from the battery. the inverter converts the direct current (DC) into alternating current  (AC) which is what our home appliances require to be powered on.
