Arsenal Are Reportedly In Negotiations With  Barcelona For  Andre Gomes.

The Portugal international who wasn't included in their World Cup squad this summer hasn't enjoyed the best of times at the Camp Nou following his big money move from Valencia two years ago on the back of an impressive showing at Euro 2016.
Having been left out of the La Liga giants' pre-season squad for the trip to the United States, it's almost guaranteed that Gomes will seek an exit.
However, reports in Spain claim that Gomes has his heart set on a move to the Emirates Stadium. It's understood that Arsenal aren't willing to match the €30m (£26m) asking price Barcelona have set for Gomes but a compromise could be reached in terms of a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer.
Gomes' potential arrival at the Emirates Stadium hasn't been well received by the majority of supporters, but it could be that he needs to get away from the Camp Nou in order to flourish.
Whether Arsenal are able to conclude a deal for Gomes before the August 9 transfer deadline does remains to be seen but they've been extremely busy thus far and have already signed two central midfieldess; Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria and Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient.
Furthermore, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos are the other new faces at the Emirates...............
